My own dogs are my little heros and are very good at inviting guests here to stay and making them feel welcome. They are, of course, used to having lots of other dogs here - both old friends and new comers too. I also have a mini pony Spartacus who is responsible for lawn maintenance and is very used to meeting rather surprised dogs. A ferret called Wilf who is so laid back he is horizontal, and a rat called Gino who is a git. He lives to bite dog's noses. He is not afraid. There are also chickens, Indian runner ducks and a tank full of fish all of which seem to provided enterrainment for our guests.
